The Nations Cup 2026 Main Event starts with three groups of three teams. Every group match is BO2, every map win is worth 2 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a map loss is worth 0 points. Top two teams from each group qualify directly to the quarterfinals. Third-place teams enter the play-in elimination stage.

If teams are tied on points, the next tiebreaker is their direct head-to-head match. If still tied, map point difference is used as an automatic fallback.
Group top two teams go straight to the quarterfinals. Third-place teams play BO1 round robin; the last team is eliminated, while the first two advance as X3 and Y3.
